We purchase our aluminum rod tubes from Landmark Components. The tube is a 1 1/2" satin color silver with gold end cap and female threaded top cap. We place a decal on the tube designating the rod #, line weight and rod length.

A.K.A. "The Club". Falls short of the aluminum tube in vanity, but would whip the Al tube's butt in a street fight. Far stronger and provides better protection for your investment. This is the type of tube that Lee and I use on our own rods.

We make these ourselves with a piece of Schedule 40 PVC and either two end caps or an end cap/threaded cleanout with plug. You can spray paint these the color of your choice if you choose. They make a great receptacle for fly shop stickers!
